Have Interesting Conversations With Women

Women are sick of being sucked into boring conversations with men they are not attracted to. They’ve been asked by men who only talk to them because of their looks about where they live and what they do perhaps thousands of times by the time another is about to do so again tonight.

By simply being different from all those other men before you, you stand out in a positive way and that can quickly lead her to feelings of attraction. To be that man you need only follow a few simple pointers:

  1. Avoid ‘Hairdresser’ Conversation

Imagine now what kinds of things you might talk to the hairdresser or cousin you see every Christmas about. In all honesty, it’s probably mundane droll about work or the footie- what I like to call ‘conversation on rails’ as you go through the same procedure as you would when talking to anyone you don’t know all that well.

We abhor having these conversations and answering the same questions time and time again but for attractive women who get approached, most of the time these will be uninvited and happen at inopportune moments, the issue is even bigger.

  1. Don’t Interview A Woman

When women are approached they tend to be put on the spot and face answering a series of questions akin to those fired at them when being interviewed for a job. This gets boring very quickly and any woman willing to put up with this will be either very, very polite or really attracted to you! Do not throw a volley of questions at a woman. Ask one; take the time to connect with her having heard her answer and move onto another.

For advanced skill levels, try to elicit the answer without actually asking the question- make as assumption about or guess what she does, where she’s from etc. You will be able to garner the same information but make it a more interesting process for her.

  1. Don’t Be Predictable

If a girl has pretty eyes- she knows it! And she’s probably heard guys tell her that thousands of times already. Try to find something specific to concentrate on if you must compliment her (preferably something not about her appearance) - or say nothing at all- but avoid this too early on in the interaction.

  1. Be Armed With Interesting Answers

Certain questions and conversational paths are trodden time and time again by everyone. Think about what yours might be and try to make your input more interesting. If a conversation gets boring because the girl’s answers were boring she won’t remember it was her fault, she’ll just remember she was bored around you!

  1. Be Passionate

Talking about something you are passionate about naturally draws your audience towards you. If you enjoy something then make sure to express that using visual and emotive language. People tend to get caught up in it and will start to feel good too and when that happens they will crave your company.

Do the above and you will see that you become that much more interesting to not only women but also other people around you. Because most people will not follow these rules, it makes it all the more easier a job to stand out.

Refine Your Appearance And Fashion Sense

If there’s one thing that women are good at, it’s noticing intricate details about a person’s appearance. The good thing about this is that they, unlike your mates, can advise you as to what does or doesn’t match, if anything is out of place or just plain ugly! Good fashion advice is hard to come by and the majority of men will overlook this area- though the booming market in men’s grooming products suggests they are slowly catching up.

A few minor adjustments will do the world of good:

  1. Don’t Be A Sheep

If your clothes are so plain that it would prove difficult for a woman to find something about them to compliment you on even if she wanted to, then you are dressing generically. Wearing dull colours with standard cuts and generally blending into the background will see you become another wall flower. Look around the next time you are in a busy area and check out how other men dress and see how much you can comment on it.

If their jeans, for example, are motif clad with funky details these stand out more than your average pair of Levi’s. If a shirt or t-shirt has a tailored and fitted cut, a funny or memorable slogan, cool detailing, funky colours or a picture, it prevents coming across as bland and will go some way in reflecting your personality in a more positive light.

  1. You Need Not Break The Bank

An expensive shirt or pair of jeans are wasted if your shoes are ugly and do little to compliment the quality of the rest of your outfit. Spend money on a couple of quality pairs of shoes- one black leather pair and a brown pair, for example. You may then mix and match outfits to suit the occasion based around your new, expensive shoes. Especially during winter it is essential to have a good jacket to top off your outfit. Next in order of priority comes your top and lastly your jeans. A few great outfits will serve a greater purpose than many average ones.

  1. Match Clothes

Try to avoid looking like mutton dressed as lamb by avoiding wearing more than 3 colours in any one outfit, else you run the risk of having your outfit clash. The skinny jeans look as per Russell Brand is fine but remember to calibrate the rest of your outfit to follow suit- avoid wearing baggy tops when trying to achieve this look, for example.

Sports clothes in general should be avoided- exceptions are of course viable when going to the gym, for example, but sport shoes should be kept on the tread mill. If the situation demands keeping it casual, then invest in designer trainers like those available from Prada.

  1. Accessorise

Courting attention when accessorising has little to do with the money spent but rather on the statement made. A cool necklace or bracelet from Camden Market proves more effective at catching a woman’s attention than a £10,000 Rolex watch. Try to snare signature necklaces, bracelets and pendants from market stalls and boutiques.

  1. Look after your mane

The state of a person’s hair says much about them. A hassle free way of sorting this out is to go to an expensive and reputable salon to take advantage of a free consultation to find out what the best look for you is and then go to a cheaper place to get it done! One important point when looking at barbers is that price is by no means a reflection of quality of service so do not be tempted to part with your cash expecting miracles.

If you’re worried about balding then brave the cold and look at perhaps shaving your head (depending on the shape of it)

  1. Look Like You Just Got Laid

Unbuttoning the top buttons on your shirt conveys that you are a sexually confident man comfortable showing off your body. Think Colin Farrell- a man who conveys sexual energy by not appearing generic.

Hit the shops and maybe even open some sets to ask for female opinions on whether your new shirt looks gay or not. The above will go some way to making sure you get the right kind of attention- especially so from the ladies!

How To Get A Girl’s Number

Most men will find that getting a woman’s phone number is an arduous task. They will not know when to ask, for example, or be fearful of risking rejection. Even after having got a girl’s number it can be difficult converting this into a second meeting or date.

Conversation Leading To A Number Close

One key mistake most men make is making small talk with a woman and then just suddenly asking for her number. This is definitely the wrong approach. A connection may (though normally is not) be made exchanging small talk with a girl but it takes a lot longer to do so. Instead, you must constantly steer the direction of the conversation towards your goal. Such a conversation will need to be based around building a connection with a girl and common interests you share.Examples of questions aimed at establishing a connection with a girl or sharing common interest:

What does she like to do when not at the office? How does she spend her free time?

What foods does she like? What places does she like to go to in the evenings? Is she a party girl? Does she like the arts? What is something she would like to do but hasn’t yet (e.g. salsa classes)?

There are ways of asking questions that establish common interests and help build a connection. There are literally hundreds so come up with some tailored for you.
Taking two polarised examples, here is how to lead into a number close from a general conversation:

You: What places do you like to go in the evening?
Her: I like club/bar X.

You: Cool, its good there, have you ever been to club Y?
Her: Yes/No

You: Well me and some friends are going there on X day, you should come along.
Her: OK

You: Excellent, what’s your number*.Or perhaps:
You: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

Her: I like to go to the theatre/exhibitions/museums/ballet.
You: Have you been to that new show/exhibition etc.?

Her: No
You: Me neither, we should go

Her: OK
You: Great, give me your number*

*You never ask outright for a number, it should flow naturally, and the close should be assumed. But how about if you cannot find a connection or common interest, do not have the time to, or do not have a conversation that bares any resemblance at all to the examples?
Then deploy the universal:

You: You’re cool/It was interesting talking to you, we should hang out sometime.
Her: Yeah.

You: *handing her your phone* What are you doing on Thursday? **

Most men will find that having got a girl’s number, nothing in the form of a second meeting or date materialises- in other words, the girls flakes.

How To Minimise ‘Flakeage’

Ensure that you enter your number in her phone too.
Have a connection or something you can do together as described above.

And most importantly: **arrange a date there and then. This means that she can be expecting your call and is more likely then to pick up if she has something to look forward to.
The above tips should go some way to ensuring all good interactions end in solid number closes.

First Date Conversational Guide

The first date is the perfect time to get to know the woman sitting opposite you better.

Alot of men will make the same mistake of boring a girl to death by interviewing her and asking questions about where the girl is from, what she does for a living, what hobbies she has, about her favourite film/book, about her family etc. etc. zzzzzz….

The fact is, the average beautiful woman has been on more first dates than you care to imagine and has been approached by guys at bars, on her way to work, picking up her laundry thousands of times over. She has already heard and had to answer these questions again and again. How can you stand out and make a killer first impression? Ask great questions!

Questions that will help you have a memorable first date share the same traits and will be:

Original;
Able to evoke old memories;
Be associated with positive emotions;
Be challenging.
Example questions:

Did you have an imaginary friend when you were a little girl?
Can you remember your first day at school?
These questions will evoke memories that have strong emotions attached to them as they recall a girl’s childhood experiences.

If you could wake up tomorrow anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Another good question and vitally, a viable alternative to questions like “Do you like to travel?” Better still; get her to describe the place vividly until she feels like she is there.

Are your friends mostly men or women?
This question gives you an insight into a girl’s character and gets them talking about people they care about without you having to do much digging.

What’s the one thing you can’t say “no” to?
A girl’s answer to this question will let you find out what she enjoys and will allow her to answer with a gleeful expression. Perhaps she’s a chocoholic- you can then describe how good it is to eat chocolate and watch how she begins to be lead into a desiring state.

Have you got any hidden talents?
This question is great for screening a girl later on in the rapport stage of an interaction and she may feel pressurised to prove herself to you when answering. But do remember that she is likely to ask the same of you so be ready with an answer.

Have you been in love?
Focus on the time she was actually in love- do not ask what happened as it shifts the focus to the break up! Try to get her to remember those giddy feelings and since she is in the presence of a cool guy like yourself, she will be imagining having those feelings for you. This question has several advantages: firstly, it evokes associations with love and secondly, it gets the topic of discussion onto the subject of relationships and lets her imagine being part of one with you more easily.

Throw out some of these great questions and you’ll have the woman thinking you are the most interesting guy she has ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only that but you’ll be able to establish a deep connection- something you can never get by asking “So…..do you have any hobbies?”
